Paleo Pizza Base – GF, DF, Low Carb, Paleo

This is the most flavourful gluten free pizza crust ever made and it is surprisingly easy!



2 cups of cauliflower florets

1 egg

1 cup of vegan cheese or cheese of your choice

Topping of your choice



Grate or blend the cauliflower florets for a few seconds until you achieve a rice grain consistency

Put the content on a tray in the oven at 170°C for about 30-35 minutes, checking often to make sure the florets don’t burn

This will absorb most of the moisture from the cauliflowers


After this time, take the florets out and let them cool down

In a bowl aside mix the egg with the cheese and the grated dried florets

Put the content on a preheated ceramic plate (I use LABELL which is great to bake pizza and bread) and try to spread it giving it an oval shape

Keep the thickness of the mixture to less than 2 cm

Cook at 200°C for 20 minuts checking often

Get the base out and let it cool down while you prepare your favourite condiment

Spread the condiment onto the base and put it back in the oven for other 10-15 minutes

The pizza is ready, just wait a few minutes before removing it from the plate
