Fulvic Acid

Anybody heard of fulvic acid? I started taking it last year and I remember feeling the benefits pretty quickly.

I am a full time mum, cook, wife, I home educate my daughter and I study, all of this between consultations and diet analysis.  🙂  No big deal, most of us live busy lives, right? However, I used to run out of energy quite quickly, getting to bedtime feeling exhausted.

Whilst diet plays a major role in our health, along with a good amount of physical activity, the intensity of everyday tasks can wear us down.

Luckily there are natural supplements that can help with that and support our health in the process.

Fulvic acid is a natural nutrient booster, is packed with electrolytes and trace minerals, as well as prebiotics and probiotics all elements needed for a good digestion and a healthy microbiome.

Let’s find out more in detail what makes this supplement so precious:

“Fulvic acid is defined as a “humic substance,” meaning that it is a major component of organic matter. A component of soil, fulvic acid is released as organic matter decomposes. During the process, millions of beneficial microbes are released, enhancing the healthful components of this substance.

Fulvic acid is considered one of the most chemically active compounds in soil as it contains a variety of beneficial nutrients. The compound contains an assortment of hormones, fatty acids, ketones, flavonoids, and vitamins and minerals.

Health Benefits of Fulvic Acid

A unique health component, fulvic acid is known to contain as many as 70 chelated vitamins. As such, this compound is effective for stimulating a number of healthful effects as well as treating a variety of health conditions.

Its unique combination of nutrients make fulvic acid a key component of many bodily processes. The nutrients help boost energy, promote cell life, improve circulation, enhance endurance and stimulate metabolism. Additionally, the compound helps remineralize the body, control inflammation, regulate hormone production, boost the immune system and promote brain function. Fulvic acid also serves as a natural libido stimulator as well as a cleansing and detoxing agent.

With all of these benefits, fulvic acid is an effective treatment for a wide range of conditions. The compound can be used to treat neural pain, diminished brain function, degenerative diseases and a variety of others.

As nearly every illness or condition can be traced back to a nutrient deficiency of some sort, fulvic acid is one of the most important proponents of good health. While the natural prevalence of the nutrient is decreasing due to today’s farming practices, fulvic acid can be found in a supplement form and is likely to only become more readily available.” (source)

Another function of fulvic acid is detoxification as it binds to toxins and metals that we are exposed to on a daily basis.

One particular study shows that humic acids have ion-selective electrodes that can be used for attracting heavy metals.

I personally use Fulvic Acid by Optimally Organic  and, after trying others, I must say it’s the one that made a difference especially in my energy levels and concentration.

Hope this helps.
